The audit of the company’s activities compliance with the requirements of the environmental management system was carried out by the experts of OOO Test-St.-Petersburg and JSC National Certification Methodology Center ‘Test-Tatarstan’.
Tatneft said the auditors examined the activities of the stock preparation workshop, assembly workshop, vulcanizing shop, and departments of mechanics, energy, automation, industrial safety, occupational health and the environment protection of the factory.
The auditors have also examined required ecological aspects like the implementation of the objectives and tasks arising from the environmental policy and the Programs for protection of the environment adopted for 2012-2013.
According to Tatneft, the commission also evaluated the environmental performance results and identified the areas of possible improvement of the system.
The commission considers it possible to confirm the validity of the international IQNet certificate in relation to the production of solid steel cord tires for buses, trucks and trailers till 20 November 2014.
