As per Valicor, the acquisition of Strength Environmental can help in expanding its footprint across the US

North American wastewater treatment services provider Valicor Environmental Services has expanded its network of wastewater processing facilities by acquiring Strength Environmental.

Strength Environmental operates centralised wastewater treatment (CWT) facility in Inkster, Michigan. The deal will enable Valicor to strengthen its existing Midwest footprint and position as a major wastewater treatment provider in the region.

Valicor Environmental Services CEO James Devlin said: “We are very excited to expand Valicor’s leading network into Michigan. Valicor continues to expand into additional geographies in order to better serve both new and existing customers.

“Strength will play a key role in enhancing our offerings of wastewater and other environmental services and we are thrilled about this addition to the Valicor family.”

Valicor significantly added wastewater treatment plants

As Valicor focuses on growing its national footprint, the acquisition of Strength takes the number of centralised wastewater treatment plants of the company from five to 14 in 24 months.

Last month, the environmental services provider acquired Action Environmental that operates a centralised wastewater treatment facility in in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  In July, the company expanded its network through the acquisition of River Green.

Owned by Pritzker Private Capital, Valicor focuses on acquiring operators of CWT facilities as well as other providers of waste management and environmental services, including materials recycling, used oil processing, product destruction, landfill solidification, and related services.
