EMA TIP TOP Australia announced that it has been selected by Monadelphous to provide expert splicing capabilities across more than 10km of new overland conveyor and modifications to three existing plant conveyors at Rio Tinto’s West Angelas Deposits C & D project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Benedikt Schneider, CEO of REMA TIP TOP Asia Pacific remarked that he was, “thrilled to be able to bolster our partnership with Monadelphous and leverage our proven relationship in delivering unmatched capabilities for Australia’s largest mining houses.”

With a total of 39 splices across 5 conveyors, with ROM and overland conveyors connecting the site with Rio Tinto’s existing West Angelas process plant and stockyard, the $1.2 million scope of works is set to commence in Q1, 2020.
