The facility located at the Ulu Pandan NEWater plant in Singapore is scheduled to be completed in February 2013.
Owned by K-Green Trust, the plant is expected to become the largest solar PV installation at a single location in the country, once complete.
SolarGy is responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of the project, which will be managed by Keppel Seghers NEWater Development.
The solar facility, which will have 4,000 modules installed on the roofs of the plantrooms over 10,000 square meters, is expected to generate 1,200,000kWh clean energy enough to power 250 households.
SolarGy managing director Albert Lim said that the project would be able to deliver high standard of energy using Yingli modules and will reduce carbon emissions.
