The project envisages the development of photovoltaic projects in China with a combined installed capacity of 2,835MW with Yingli expected to supply at least 10% of the modules required.
Commenting on the initiative Yingli Green Energy chairman and chief executive officer Liansheng Miao remarked that it demonstrates the country’s aim to promote solar energy generation and usage.
"With these policies in place, we believe that the China PV market will achieve a faster and healthier growth.
"We’ll continue to enhance our business activities in China and power more families and businesses with our high quality products," added Miao.
