DESIGNED FOR USE in hostile environments, AeroComm’s AC3124 family of transceiver modules allow for outdoor or indoor operation at temperatures of -40?C to +80?C.
Operating in the 2.4GHz ISM frequency band, the frequency hopping, spread spectrum transceivers can replace bulky wiring in applications such as SCADA in water management, says the company.
The modules have been developed to meet OEM’s stringent requirements for small size, simple integration, long range, low power consumption and efficient data throughput. Data rates up to 115.2Kbps provide ample speed for most industrial applications, claims AeroComm.
The AC3124 range can be integrated into both portable devices and stationary applications. To facilitate smooth design integration and provide flexibility for different applications, all AC3124 modules have identical dimensions, connectors and software interfaces for interchangeability.
