The power projects, each totaling 10MW, are Clean Breeze, Cloudy Ridge, Settlers Landing, Snowy Ridge, and Grey Highlands.

Wind Works said these projects were all awarded power contracts totaling 80MW under the Ontario Power Authority Feed-in Tariff program in April 2010.

According to the agreement, Premier Renewable Energy will assume all costs to develop, construct and operate the five power projects, and the total investment is approximately $150m.

Upon completion, the projects are expected to provide enough clean energy to power the equivalent of approximately 12,500 homes every year.
