Wind Works is planning to begin construction on the wind project, Thunder Spirit, in June 2012, and the completion is expected in late 2012.

Construction costs for the power project are estimated at $300m.

Upon completion of an interconnection agreement, Thunder Spirit can connect into the power gridoperator Midwest ISO power market.

Wind Works president and CEO Ingo Stuckmann said the power project was recently funded by the company with about $20m, and the project construction within next few months..

The Thunder Spirit wind power project has the ability to supply green, renewable energy at the lowest cost to utilities and their ratepayers.

The Thunder Spirit project entered the definitive planning phase with Midwest ISO in March 2010.
