Westinghouse’s scope includes: upgrade and replacement of most I&C systems, supply of new reactor coolant pumps, steam generator services, crane replacement and upgrades, probabilistic risk assessment, NSSS plant design engineering services, drive rods, licensing services and safety analysis.
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)-planned project duration is 54 months with commercial operation of the unit scheduled for early 2012.
