Under the collaboration agreement, Eaton will continue to sell and service VYCON’s efficient VDC flywheel energy storage systems as an alternative or complement to their three-phase uninterruptible power systems.
VYCON said its VDC models offer Eaton customers a battery-free, green alternative by providing sufficient ride-through for short duration power outages and/or bridging time until a standby engine-generator can come online.
