Voith Hydro has secured contracts valued at EUR40M to supply equipment to two hydropower schemes in China.
The company has signed a contract with Da Tang YanTan Hydro Power Company to supply generators for two 340MW units as part of project to extend the existing Yan Tan hydroelectric project on the Hongshui River in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Voith has also agreed a deal with Huanghe Hydro Power Development Company to supply three Francis turbines with an output of 400MW each for the Yang Qu plant on the Yellow River.
