Voith is to supply the complete electromechanical equipment to the Pusaka I and III hydropower plants in the Indonesian province of West Java.
Equipment to be delivered to the plants, which have capacities of 8.8MW and 3MW respectively, include four turbines and generators, automation systems and other balance-of-plant equipment. The turbines will be manufactured by Voith Hydro in India at its state-of-the-art small hydro manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Contracts for the plants have been awarded by PT Pembangkitan Pusaka Parahiangan, a subsidiary of the Indonesian energy producer PT Medco Power.
