Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation of Austria, in consortium with Siemens, Greece, has won a US$19.4M modernisation contract for the hydro power station Bistrica 1 & 2.
The scope of supply for voith-siemens Hydro Power Generation, as consortium leader, covers the modernisation of Bistrica 1 hydro power station within a period of 26 months and will include steel construction for hydraulic engineering, pressurised tubing including valve flaps, three Francis turbines with an output of 8MW each, and generators, turbine governors, automation as well as mechanical and electrical auxiliary equipment.
