The power project will supply the national grid with 686.5 million kilowatt hour per year and also help supply water and prevent floods and droughts on the one hand. The project will also improve the environmental and weather conditions in the region on the other hand.
Hoang spoke of the project’s important contribution to maintaining border security, restructuring the economy and developing production, particularly aquaculture, in the locality.
Hoang asked the investor, the Central Region Hydro Electricity Joint Stock Company, to assist the contractors and the locality in ensuring the construction tempo and quality.
