“We are convinced this combination of efforts with Victron Energy answers a cash barrier sore point in clean technology adoption we have witnessed for too long. With this association of expertise, we can now unleash a whole new dimension of impact through PAYG technologies: facilitating a greater access to productive use of energy for farmers, large power capacity for households or even enhanced health care conditions at remote dispensaries for instance” says Thibault Lesueur, Co-Founder of Solaris Offgrid.

From today onward, operators all across developing countries are offered the ability to use a broad range of pure sinus inverter and MPPT charge controller from Victron Energy that are compatible with the Solaris PAYG platform. Together with Venus GX (or Color Control) and a 2G/3G router, operators are now able to install and remotely manage installations up to 15kVA capacity.

Matthijs Vader, Managing Director at Victron Energy to add “we offer many beneficial products for PAYG solar systems enabling off-grid customers to take advantage of high-quality products. All solutions are now achievable from small DC to larger AC installations at an affordable cost. We have developed specific features that ensures long-lasting systems by preventing overloads and battery deep discharge. It brings Pay-As-You-Go to another scale where customers can access energy service similar and probably more reliable than the grid itself. Solaris Offgrid and our R&D did an excellent work to make our respective solutions compatible”.
