The power projects, located in the Rio Grande do Norte region, comprises 30 units of the V100-2MW wins turbine.
The order includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a five year service and maintenance agreement with the active output management package AOM 5000.
Delivery of the turbines is expected to start in the fourth quarter of next year and the projects are expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2013.
The wind power plants, which have a total capacity of 60MW, will produce about 315GWh per year, which corresponds to an annual emission saving of almost 23,000 tons of CO2 compared with average Brazilian electricity.
The projects will provide enough electricity to cover the annual residential electricity consumption of almost 632,785 people in Brazil.
