Oklahoma plant gets phase II this summer
Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems has won an order for 84 of its 1.8 MW V80 turbines destined to expand a farm in southwest Oklahoma for an undisclosed sum.
Houston-based Zilkha Renewable Energy and Kirmart Corporation of Kansas are the co-developers of the Blue Canyon II project. The 151 MW expansion to the existing farm is due to be completed in December 2005 with delivery of the turbines due in the summer
