Vestas has secured wind turbine supply orders from the US, China and Spain for a combined capacity of 275MW.

The largest of the three contracts was for 200MW of V110 2MW turbines for an undisclosed project in the US.

Vestas will service the turbines for five years. The company expects to deliver the turbines by the end of the year, while the project is planned to be commissioned early next year.

In China, Vestas secured a 48MW order from Datang Renewables to supply 24 V110 2MW turbines for the Gaoqiao project in the Liaoning province, north-east China.

Delivery and commissioning of the turbines is anticipated in the second half of this year.

The order also includes two-year AOM 4000 service contract and a SCADA VestasOnline Business for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance.

Lastly, Vestas secured a 27MW order from an undisclosed customer in Spain.

Under the deal, the company will install 15 V100-1.8MW turbines at the Ausines project in the Burgos region of northern Spain.

A five-year AOM 4000 service agreement is also included in the contract. Turbine delivery is expected in third quarter of 2016, while commissioning is expected in the final quarter.

Apart from these orders, Vestas has also won a 600MW firm and unconditional service contract covering all of its wind turbines installed for Hanas Group in China.

The contract covers all 12 Hanas Group wind power plants in Yanchi County of northwestern China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
