The company will deliver 75 units of the 2MW platform turbines for the wind projects including Ventos de Sao Miguelm, Renascenca I, Renascenca II, Renascenca III and Renascenca IV.
The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a five-year service and maintenance agreement with the Active Output Management package ‘AOM 5000’.
Vestas is expected to begin delivery of the turbines in the first quarter of 2012.
The power projects are expected to be completed in December 2012 and produce approximately 727.2GWh of electricity per year.
