Under the contract, Vestas will supply and install 37 units of the V100-2.0MW wind turbine at the facility.

The contract also includes a two-year Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement.

The company is expected to deliver the wind turbines in the third quarter of 2015 and the wind farm is scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2015.

The V100-2.0 MW turbines will be well-suited for the low-wind, high-altitude conditions of the Jianshui Qikeshu wind farm, claimed Vestas.

Vestas Asia Pacific & China president Chris Beaufait said: "Vestas and Hebei Construction have worked together on several projects in China, and we are pleased they have chosen Vestas technology to meet their requirements for this low-wind site project."
