The order includes the supply, installation and operations of the turbines at three wind farms Le Bois du Haut, Le Vert Galant and Garimetz, all located in Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, with a combined capacity of 36MW.

Vestas will also supply a SCADA solution along with a 10 year service and maintenance agreement under the active output management with an option to be extended for an additional 15 years.

Vestas chief sales officer Juan Araluce remarked that the project testifies the reliability its V90-3.0 MW turbines while optimizing energy production and reducing energy costs.

Ostwind International president Fabien Kayser added that the two companies were committed to developing wind energy in the French market.

Construction of the wind project is scheduled to start towards the end of 2012 with the three wind power plants expected to be operational towards the end of 2013.
