Vestas signs wind turbine service renewal contract with EDPR

The service contract renewal includes the active output management package AOM 4000 for a period of seven years.

Vestas Wind Systems president and CEO Ditlev Engel said, "This service agreement is a demonstration of our customer focus, service orientation and versatility in different wind markets and site conditions."

The company said that 70% of the turbines covered by this agreement are in the US and the remaining wind power plants are in Spain, France, Romania, Portugal and Italy.
