Danish wind turbine major Vestas is to supply 30 of its V80-1.8 MW wind turbines for the Kettles Hill project near Pincher Creek, Alberta in Canada.
The deal forms part of an expansion phase of the project, owned by Kettles Hill Wind Energy, controlled by Creststreet Kettles Hill Windpower.
Vestas will supply and commission the wind turbines for the project, as well as provide maintenance and service support for a five-year period. Shipment of the wind turbines will begin in late 2006.
