Vega Biofuels will build the bio-coal manufacturing plant in the US state of Georgia.

The plant to be located in Crisp County will produce green energy bio-coal for use in existing coal fired power plants around the world.

The plant’s location has been backed by Crisp County Industrial Development Council (IDC) earlier this year, which will allow the
facility to be eligible for port job tax for using the Port of Savannah.

Vega also signed an agreement with The Timber Group, to provide raw timber waste to the manufacturing facility.
