Sweden’s Vattenfall will bid for hydropower concessions in France during auctions that are likely to take place in 2011, Reuters has reported.
France currently has an installed hydro capacity of 25GW, with 5.3GW of concessions to be auctioned next year, Reuters said. According to reports, Vattenfall is interested in bidding for a ‘substantial’ share of the capacity to be tendered.
