Uranium One has achieved attributable production of 3.2 million pounds in the second quarter of 2015, an increase of 18%, when compared to 2.7 million pounds for the same period in 2014.

Its revenue was $111m for the quarter, compared to $41.1m in the year-ago period. Attributable revenues amounted to $165m, compared to $86.1m.

Net earnings was $21.6m for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $63.4m for the same period last year.

The average total cash cost per pound sold of produced material stood at $14 per pound in Q2, similar to the last year’s quarter.

Gross profit increased 207% to $41.1m, compared to $13.4m due to a 28% rise in the realized sales price of produced material and a 18% growth in the sales volume.

Uranium One has a portfolio of assets globally situated in the US, Kazakhstan, Australia and Tanzania.

The company is a subsidiary of Uranium One Holding, which is a subsidiary of Rosatom, the Russian State Corporation for Nuclear Energy.
