Local 584 represents employees affiliated with United Water Delaware, and the company provides water services to about 110,000 people in northern New Castle County.
United Water president Bob Iacullo said this is a fair and balanced agreement which addresses issues such as wages, benefits and retirement plan changes.
"The contract continues to provide United Water Delaware employees with one of the best wage and benefit packages in the industry," Iacullo said.
"The ratification of this contract demonstrates what can be achieved when both sides work to find constructive solutions to difficult issues."
