Architectural firm Weidersum Associates Architects was the project developer and a roofing company Triple M Roofing implemented the installation.

The solar system is expected to generate over 948,000kWh energy to the district annually, approximately 158,000kWh of energy generated per school.

The solar installations are expected to save the district more than $152,533 annually and will provide a carbon offset of 824 metric tons per year.

The company said a web-based solar monitoring system provided by AGT has been installed at each school, displaying real-time usage data.

The solar monitors will detail energy and cost savings, providing school visitors, students and staff a clear understanding of the advantages of this earth-friendly technology and a hands-on educational tool.
