The project, which broke ground in late December 2013, is scheduled to be completed in April 2014.
The array will help in supporting the energy needs of the Federal Building and Courthouse of St. Croix to achieve net zero energy consumption rating.
Unirac said that the project is part of an Energy Savings Performance contract (ESCO) between Schneider Electric and GSA with a performance guarantee of 18 years.
Dynamic Solar Solutions president Leonardo Lebron Torres said the company has selected Unirac because of the exceptional past experience with them.
"Unirac consistently provides excellent engineering and project support for their products," Torres added.
Unirac, which provides solar power systems, has achieved certifications for ISO 9001:2008 for QMS, ISO 14001:2004 for EMS and OHSAS 18001:2007 for safety.
