Independent oil firm Unioil Petroleum Philippines has reduced the prices of diesel and kerosene sold in its retail stations. The company has decided to implement a rollback of PHP2.28 per liter for diesel and PHP2 for kerosene products.
With the reductions, the company has announced that Pure Diesel Plus B1 prices for (non-PUV lanes) will stand at PHP26.69 per liter from January’s PHP28.97 and PHP35.68 for kerosene from the previous PHP37.68. Pure Diesel Plus B1 for PUV lanes will stand at PHP24.94 per liter.
Chito Medina-Cue Jr, general manager of Unioil Petroleum Philippines, said: We decided to implement the latest price cutback in diesel and kerosene products sold by our retail stations due to the recent price reduction in crude at the international market.
This is also with what we have been doing to give competitive prices to our consumers. We are now lower by PHP0.54 to PHP2.24 per liter in our diesel and kerosene products compared with other players.
Since its inception in 1966, Unioil is engaged in petroleum services and establishing itself as a business partner for specialty oils, fuels and lubricants. Currently, Unioil’s interests include the operation of retail gas services stations, the marketing and blending of lubricants, oil trading and most recently, the marketing of bitumen.
