Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 28 July appointed Halyna Karp as first deputy energy and coal industry minister, Anatoliy Korzun as deputy energy minister and Ihor Didenko as deputy energy minister for European integration. Halyna Karp is a member of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional council from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction. Anatoliy Korzun previously worked as director of the coal industry department in the Energy Ministry and was deputy energy minister from 1999 to 2010. Ihor Didenko has served as deputy minister of energy and coal industry since 8 May 2014; earlier he supervised operations of the national joint-stock company Naftohaz Ukrayiny.
