Industry bodies, developers and other interested parties gave their opinion on the potential plans for the structure of the proposed licensing system including a proposal for having a license, which would cover all phases of such developments.
In order to comply with European rules on the underground storage of carbon dioxide, which will come into effect on 1 October, DECC will lay down the regulations in Parliament.
