Energy and Climate Change minister Greg Barker remarked that they currently have funds for a communications campaign to further the understanding of the homeowners on the Green Deal.
"We are also supporting development of a national Open Homes network which will show people just how great their home could look and feel with exciting energy efficient upgrades," added Barker
The DECC will employ £2.9m funds in the development of a national Open Homes network that will enable people to get information about homes that have been enhanced by energy saving retrofits.
The department also launched a portal for participants in Green Deal – Green Deal Providers, charities and Community Interest Companies to register for the cash back scheme.
