An invitation to tender has been issued for the Norton Fitzwarren dam project in Taunton Somerset. The object of the contract is to construct an earth dam that will act as a flood mitigation structure.
The works also include a culvert, spillway, stilling basin, control structure with associated hydraulics and telemetry, environmental works and access. Tenders must be received by 17 November 2005.
