UES of Russia and Delovaya Rossiya have announced that they will create a special project group to develop the Russian power-plant industry.
The Russian power-plant industry is reportedly one of the most promising areas of the country’s economy. UES of Russia has said that the industry is facing new challenges in connection with large-scale investments in the electricity industry and the entry of foreign power-plant equipment manufacturers into the market.
The functions of the project group will include preparation of proposals regarding state support of the power-plant industry and measures aimed at expansion of co-operation between Russian and foreign power-plant manufacturers.
UES of Russia and Delovaya Rossiya have invited other interested parties to participate in and finance the project group.
