The General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI) invites qualified candidates to apply by 15 August 2006 for pre-qualification of the Bagbasi dam and Mavi Tunel (Blue Tunnel) construction work.
International bidding will be carried out through the restricted tender procedure among invited candidates considered eligible by the contracting authority following the pre-qualification evaluations.
Work will include construction of the 109m high Bagbasi concrete faced rockfill dam and Mavi tunnel, which has an interior diameter of 4m. As part of the Mavi Tunel construction, 17.061m will be bored by YBM, with the remaining 995m bore by the conventional method. The project is located at Hadim district in the Koyna province of Turkey.
Work is scheduled to start within 30 days following the notification date of the signed contract and should be completed in 1800 calendar days following the job site hand-over.
