Significant graphite intersections include 86m at 10.2% total graphitic carbon (TGC) in hole GBNC0031, 122m at 10% TGC in hole GBNC0036, 124m at 10.3% TGC in hole GBNC0038, and 78m at 10.8% TGC in hole GBND0008.
Triton Minerals managing director Brad Boyle said: "Diamond drilling has again confirmed the world class potential of the Balama North project.
"To intercept substantial graphite mineralisation down to depths of 475m in single drill hole, with the mineralisation open at depth, combined with high grade graphite intercepts of up to 34.1% TGC, are again very exciting results."
"These latest drill results continue to provide a solid foundation for the initial large JORC 2012 resource at Nicanda Hill."
The company said that samples tested at SGS South African laboratory returned grades of up to 28% TGC, and confirm presence of Vanadium within the samples with grades up to 0.50% V2O5.
To date, Triton has completed initial exploratory drilling on 61 RC drill holes and 36 diamond drill holes on the Nicanda Hill prospect.
