Under the Exit Strategy program, TRC will be responsible for the project completion while aligning the environmental interest with municipality’s business goals to ensure the proper clean-up and closure of the landfills.
TRC plans to conduct the clean-up of the landfill by using a green remediation methodology, known as phytoremediation that uses trees as the conduit to treat and mitigate environmental impacts.
TRC is claimed to have developed proficiency in the broad application of phytoremediation, a technology which is being embraced by regulators across the country as a green remediation strategy.
