A nine hour power outage is required, which will take place on November 25, 2007. Although Transpower’s work only requires eight hours, local lines company Top Energy will require some extra time to restore the power supply to its customers.
David Laurie, general manager of national grid operations at Transpower, said: Proper maintenance is critical to ensure that the Northland area continues to receive a reliable supply of electricity.
