Mr Baum is a retired chairman and CEO of Sempra Energy. Prior to that, he was president and vice chairman of Sempra Energy.
He was also chairman, CEO and a member of the board of directors of Enova, the parent company of San Diego Gas & Electric, where he served in various officer positions including general counsel.
Before joining San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), he was senior vice president and general counsel of the New York Power Authority. He has also held various legal positions, including general attorney at Orange & Rockland Utilities, and as an associate with the law firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle in New York City.
