The Toyota ME.WE features integrated wheel motors such as the Toyota i-ROAD, and has batteries located under the floor like that of Toyota iQ EV.

Toyota ME.WE has an aluminum structure clad in body panels, formed from expanded polypropylene, while the weight of ME.WE could be 1,653 lbs, which represents a minimum 20% saving compared to a traditional B-segment car with a steel body.

The expanded polypropylene can be completely recycled, based on its original use and intended secondary use.

The ME.WE can be a two – or four-wheel-drive vehicle as it has an electric motor in each wheel.
