The assets acquired from Midway Petroleum include a portfolio of natural gas storage leases, 600km of seismic data, geological prospects and C$1.3m ($1.36m) of tax pools.
The True Family assets provide Torque Energy with a 100% working interest in the Corey East Pool and the Warwick oil well.
Torque Energy was formed by the amalgamation of Golden Lake Resources and Kestrel Resources in June 1993.
