The program focuses on drilling over 20,000 meters with the goal of defining additional uranium resources.
Thundelarra holds a 70% interest in the uranium rights and its joint venture partner Crocodile Gold holds a 30% interest in the prospect.
Under the JV agreement, Crocodile Gold will retain all other metal rights including precious metals and base metals.
Crocodile Gold has 100% rights to the gold mineralization at one drill hole TPCRC066 established during the 2010 drill program at the north end of the Thunderball deposit.
Crocodile Gold plans to commence additional drilling around the length of gold mineralization.
Thundelarra has also identified high grade mineralization near the hinge axis of the Thunderball anticline and is currently planning to target deformation zone to the south of the existing resource.
A combination of reverse circulation and diamond drilling will be used to test the deformation zone as it plunges to the north, with a diamond drill rig expected on site within the next two weeks.
A third exploration target at Thunderball is the intersection of the hinge axis with the Gerowie Tuff/Zamu Dolerite contact beneath the existing resource.
This target will also be tested during the diamond drilling phase of the current program.
