Texas Instruments Incorporated (Texas Instruments) has elected Kent Novak as new senior vice president (SVP) and general manager of the company's DLP Products division. In his new role, Novak will direct all development and delivery of DLP technology including all core business units and emerging applications within the division. He joined the company in 2003 and most recently served as vice president, medical & high reliability.

Kent’s marketing insights and global experience will make him a vital asset to the DLP Products division, said Gregg Lowe, Texas Instruments senior vice president. I am confident that Kent’s extensive experience and deep understanding of customers’ needs will make him an integral part of the DLP team.

As vice president, Medical & High Reliability, Novak directed the definition and production of new devices for market segments including: medical devices; military and defense; space and aerospace; test and measurement; and other high reliability applications.

Novak holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
