Under the five-year contract, Tetra Tech will provide research and development support and evaluation of technologies and tools to prevent or reduce pollution of air, land, and water and restore ecosystems.
The pollution prevention program is part of the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Office of Research and Development, National Risk Management Research Laboratory.
Tetra Tech will also perform treatability studies and pilot-scale investigations, support field activities including risk assessments and site characterization, develop and evaluate models.
The company will also provide technical support to various programs including the USEPA Superfund Program, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Program, and the USEPA Office of Water, among other USEPA organizations.
