TNB Remaco will employ IBM’s asset management software to automate the manual systems at the hydroelectric plant, while helping to meet increased resource demands.
In addition, the software will provide integrated energy data and asset and service management data of the plant.
Commenting on the partnership, TNB president Che Khalib said that the IBM’s solution will play a key role in running the systems efficiently and will also enable full scale development of Pakistan’s hydropower potential.
IBM Cloud and Smarter Infrastructure general manager Deepak Advani said, "IBM’s Smarter Infrastructure software not only helps automate business process and better manage resources at the plant, it will also create an interconnected system that enables plant operators to make more informed decisions to efficiently run an energy complex."
