The Government of Sikkim has awarded the Teesta stage IV (495MW) and Teesta stage VI (390MW) hydroelectric projects to a consortium comprising of Amalgamated Transpower (India) of New Delhi and Karnataka Power Corporation of Bangalore.
The projects have been awarded on a build, own, operate basis.
