Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has selected Technip to provide services for the Ichthys floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit which will be located in the Browse Basin, Western Australia.

The FPSO will be located at a water depth of 250m.

Technip said the Ichthys LNG project will produce 8.4 million tons of LNG and 1.6 million tons of LPG annually, and will have a peak rate of 100,000 barrels of condensate a day.
