Aiming to enhance integrity assessment and sustain oil production, the ZKOL project serves ADMA-OPCO’s objective of replacing aged oil pipelines in the Zakum field.

The first phase includes around replacement of about 90km of oil pipelines and associated wellhead towers modification work, accordingly.

Technip will monitor the operations of the project from its operating center in Abu Dhabi, while the project is expected to complete by 2016.

Technip PMC senior vice president Riccardo Moizo said, "We are delighted to have been awarded this project, as it further strengthens our collaboration with ADMA-OPCO as well as our presence in the Middle East, where Technip is providing PMC services for key projects."
