The contract worth approximately EUR90m will be executed by the company’s operating center in Oslo, Norway.
The scope of the contract includes engineering, procurement, welding and installation of flowlines, including a 19.5km pipe-in-pipe production flowline, a plastic-lined water injection flowline and a gas lift flowline of the same length.
The company will also be responsible for subsea equipment installation and tie-ins of new risers and umbilicals.
The Apache II pipelay vessel from Technip’s fleet will perform the installation in mid-2012.
The contract is subject to approval of the plan for development and operation of Gygrid by the Norwegian authorities.
